Woman questioned on fine detail in Oscar murder trial─── 12:21 Mon, 24 Mar 2014
Oscar Pistorius's lawyer today questioned whether a woman who heard screaming from the athlete's house when Reeva Steenkamp was killed had heard other versions of what happened.
Kenny Oldwadge, for Pistorius, asked Annette Stip whether she had compared her version of the early morning hours of February 14, with others she may have heard in the media.
She denied this, saying she had not followed media coverage of the case religiously. Stipp and her husband lives close to Pistorius' home in the Silwerwood Country Estate.
She's testifying in day 14 of Pistorius' murder trial.
He is accused of the premeditated murder of Steenkamp in his home in February last year. Pistorius contends he shot her through the locked door of his toilet, thinking she was an intruder.
Stipp, an occupational therapist, earlier told the court she was unable to sleep that morning as she was feeling ill, and that she heard gunshots followed by terrified screams of a women coming from Pistorius' home.
