Bloemfontein - A new urban flea market in Bloemfontein’s Rose Garden that kicked off this past weekend, was a major success.
According to one of the organisers, Thabo Mokenela, the flea market will give all budding entrepreneurs an equal opportunity to showcase their goods and products.
The market will be run in conjunction with Nedbank, Standard Bank, the Free State Development Corporation, Mangaung Metro and Thepa Trading. Mokenela says a market of this magnitude is long overdue.
Mokenela says similar flea markets are planned for other regions in the province in the future and ultimately, a huge quarterly flea market at a venue to be decided at a later stage.
