Man jumps to death at Bloukrans River Bridge─── 05:23 Wed, 18 Nov 2015
Port Elizabeth - The body of a 34-year-old man who jumped to his death off the Bloukrans River Bridge early on Tuesday morning has been recovered by emergency personnel.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, said the man, whose identity is known to police, but which would not be released until his next of kin had been informed, had jumped at around 06:00 on Tuesday morning.
Nkoli said the man had driven to the 216-metre high bridge in a silver Volkswagen Amarok and parked on the bridge.
He said witnesses saw the man jump to his death.
