Missing DA NW official: New information brings hope─── THANDI XABA 09:25 Sat, 10 Oct 2015

Mahikeng - Information received from villagers in Nepal has brought hope that the aircraft in which Democratic Alliance (DA) North West deputy leader Petro Nel and a Russian pilot were travelling, may soon be found.
It has been 48 hours since the ultra-light aircraft went missing in a mountainous region in the South Asian country. The plane did not arrive back on schedule after it took off for a sightseeing trip on Thursday morning. Nel left South Africa last week for a holiday to Tibet and Nepal.
The DA's Chris Hattingh however says hope remains as they have received some positive news.
Hattingh says three search parties made up of members of the Nepalese police, army and local authorities are currently looking for Nel.
Her husband JC and their sons, John J. and Juan, are receiving support and updates from the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation.
