Palesa Chubisi, known to many as a radio and television news anchor, is a young, self-driven woman, who started her career in the 11th grade as a voice over artist and a news reader at a community radio station in the Free State.
This experience inspired her to pursue a tertiary qualification at the Vaal University of Technology.
Coming from an impoverished background Chubisi struggled to complete her qualification, she however today stands as a proud Public Relations Management graduate. Despite her daily challenges, she helps prospective students finance their tertiary education, and would one day like to leave a legacy of young educated South Africans.
Through her work as a news anchor, Chubisi informs and educates South Africans of current affairs on a daily basis.
During this woman’s month, Chubisi urges all woman to stand together and empower each other. She advises young people to empower and equip themselves with knowledge.
