A breathtaking ballet and contemporary dance production of hope, resilience, and rediscovery.

DREAM follows the journey of Amara. As a child, Amara dreamed freely, her imagination soaring like the paper airplanes she loved to make. 

But growing up dims her dreams, lost beneath the weight of everyday life. When she stumbles upon a forgotten paper airplane tucked away in an old box, a spark reignites within her. Through a magical garden of dreams and the trials of doubt, Amara rediscovers the courage to believe and to dream once more.

Santie van Biljon encourages everyone to dream and to rediscover old passions. Speaking to Yolanda, Santie tells of her students’ love for dance, with the youngest dancer being 3 years old and the oldest dancer being about 60 years old.

The Creative Dance Academy focuses on theatre-style dancing such as ballet, contemporary, and lyrical styles.

“Dance is good for the soul,” says Santie van Biljon.
