Bloem Show awards talented Grade 11 learner with special prize for artwork─── 09:00 Tue, 02 Jun 2026
A learner in Grade 11 at St Andrews School in Bloemfontein won a special prize with his art at this year’s Bloem Show.
Bloem Show is one of only two shows in South Africa that still gives exhibition and competition opportunities to creative crafts products like embroidery, art, quilting, knitting, crochet, and spinning.
This section also accommodates activities from schools such as art, baking, writing, and technology. Several demonstrations of the different sections are also showcased together with the more than 2,500 exhibitions.
Congratulations to Siyabonga Gans, a learner in Grade 11 at St Andrews School in Bloemfontein, whose artwork won a special prize at this year’s show.
His artwork was on display during this year’s exhibition and the OFM Art Beat absolutely needed to find out more about this talented young man.
