Local rapper Sho Madjozi is giving the world a taste of her African roots - the Huku hitmaker has been featured on the VogueWorld 100 list.
In an Instagram post, the publication described Madjozi's music as a "voice to a newly-forged South African identity."
"In the landscape of post-Apartheid South Africa, Madjozi's unapologetic Pan-African pride is an antidote to the devastation of cultural erasure", read the caption.
The post also includes a video of Madjozi dancing and having a party in her village in Limpopo.
The VogueWorld 100 list is described as a compilation of "a group of fearless, talented individuals who have captured our attention of late and are poised to transform style, beauty, and culture globally in the months to come."
