The Premier Sylvia Lucas stated that all provincial departments have anti-corruption strategies and policies in place in the fight against corruption, during her last State of the Province address on Thursday.
She also encouraged whistleblowers to come forward to report corruption.
Lucas added that R20 million would be allocated to each mining town municipality for the purpose of revitalisation.
The funds will go towards bulk water infrastructure, sanitation and electricity.
She stated that R9,7 million would be spent on persistent water shortages in Buffelsrivier in the Namakhoi region.
