The girl was found in the school's toilet on Wednesday with a knife in her stomach . Police spokesperson, Amanda Funani, tells OFM News that the police are investigating a case of grievous bodily harm.

OFM News previously reported that provincial Education Department spokesperson, Elias Malindi, said according to information available at this stage, teachers were in a meeting when they were alerted by fellow pupils of the stabbing incident. She has since been stabilised and is still receiving care in hospital.
