NC CPF engages residents on crime issues─── LUCKY NKUYANE 08:26 Tue, 09 Apr 2019
The Provincial Community Policing Forum (CPF) Board and Frances Baard Cluster CPF Leadership on Monday conducted community engagements in the greater Kimberley area in the Northern Cape.
This was to afford the residents the opportunity to raise concerns.
OFM News previously reported that the Kimberley and Galeshewe Police Stations are at the top of the list of police stations in that province where the most crime was reported.
Locals also raised their concerns with the high crime rate in those areas and slammed the lack of police visibility. The Kimberley Police Station is ranked 23rd on a list of the country’s busiest police stations based on serious crimes reported by the community. The police station joined Park Road in Bloemfontein and Rustenburg as the only police stations in Central South Africa on the list.
