Various political parties in Central South Africa are out in full force and on the campaign trail this Saturday in celebration of the 25th anniversary of democracy.
The African National Congress’s (ANC) Treasurer General, Paul Mashatile, is in Kimberley while provincial ANC chairperson, Zamani Saul, is expected in the Namakwa Region to meet with farmers and conduct door-to-door visits.
North West Democratic Alliance leader, Joe McGluwa, will also celebrate Freedom Day in Rustenburg with a door-to-door campaign by engaging the communities of Karlien Park and Zinniaville.
Meanwhile, President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to be the keynote speaker at the event in the Miki Yili Stadium at Makhanda in the Eastern Cape.
