Burnt body of woman discovered in Welkom FS─── LUCKY NKUYANE 18:19 Tue, 21 May 2019
The Free State police have launched a manhunt for a murder suspect after the burnt body of a woman who is said to between the ages of 25 and 35 was found in an open field at a corner of Buren and Arrarat road in Dagbreek, Welkom.
The police spokesperson, Kethabile Mofokeng, says the burnt body of this unknown woman was discovered by a passer-by on the 19 May 2019 at around 08:42 in that area.
The woman was found with a knife still stuck on her neck with her lower body, face burnt, and her breasts cut off. Mofokeng says the motive for the killing is unknown and no one has been arrested at this stage, however, the police urges the public to assist in tracing the suspects in connection with this cruel murder.
