Political party set to lose premier candidate | News Article

Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) in the North West is set to lose their Premier candidate Mzukisi Jam, who has indicated that he will resign from the party midweek.

Jam was the provincial face for PAC in the last elections, however, the party failed to secure enough votes to get a seat at the provincial legislature. OFM News has reliably learnt that Jam has been approached by other big parties to join them, which he declined to mention at the moment. Jam, who is a nurse by profession, was a North West provincial chairperson for Hospersa and Fedusa before joining PAC. He has also left the trade unions to give his time to politics.

Having led many structures from his college days as SRC president, Jam says he is likely to remain in politics and will not rush his decision to join another party. He stated that he is willing to continue to serve the people of North West and this country. He has, however, stated that it is important to him that he makes the right decision. Jam concluded that details of his resignation will be made public in his official announcement.
