Just as they got a taste of warm weather it seems another cold front is to hit the Free State, Northern Cape and North West.

Micheal Nethavhani from the South African Weather Services in Bloemfontein, says there is a 30% chance of isolated showers and thunder in the Northern Cape.  Showers are more likely in parts of Eastern Free State, including Vredefort, Bethlehem and Frankfort with about 60% chances of rain from tonight into Friday.

South Eastern and Western parts of the North West such as Potchefstroom, Vryburg and Klerksdorp might also get rain. Nethavhani says cold conditions will clear completely by the weekend, but slight fog is expected along the N3 on Saturday morning and motorists are cautioned to drive carefully.

The weather forecast predicts that it will start picking up from Friday to Sunday.
