Police spokesperson, Malebo Khosana, says employees were ordered to go to the back of the store, where they were bound with cable ties. He adds that the manager and other employees were forced to a room where cellphones were kept, and money was also taken from the cash registers.

Meanwhile, OFM News spoke to one of the victims in the incident who described how the incident unfolded. The victim told OFM News that the four men threatened to shoot them if they did not follow orders.

“No one was injured as the suspects fled the scene on foot. It is currently unknown what type of vehicle they were using,” Khosana adds.

Khosana says one of the workers managed to free herself and call for help. He says cellphones, dstv devices, and an undisclosed amount of money were robbed.

“Hennenman police are looking for these suspects and request any person who has information that may lead to their arrest to come forward or call 08600 10111,” he further adds.
