Kathu armed robbers to appear in court─── 08:06 Sun, 10 Nov 2019
Two suspects aged 26 and 28, residing in Dikgweng outside Kuruman in the Northern Cape, and allegedly were involved in an armed robbery yesterday morning at Pep stores in Kathu, is expected to appear before the Kathu Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
This is according to police spokesperson, Mohale Ramatseba, who explained that the duo was arrested by the police in conjunction with Rhino Security when they attempted to rob the clothing store. Ramatseba added that the suspects fired shots but no injuries were reported.
The police confiscated an unlicensed firearm with two live rounds of ammunition, a substantial amount of cash and cable ties. The investigation continues.
