NUM to elect new cabinet at National Youth Conference in Bfn─── 15:17 Fri, 22 Nov 2019

The stakes are high at the National Union of Mineworkers’ (NUM) second National Youth Elective Conference underway at the Philip Sanders Resort in Bloemfontein in the Free State on Friday 22 November 2019.
Members of the youth structure are contesting each other for the positions of the national chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, sports and recreation, and political ideology.
Spokesperson of NUM in the Free State, Isaac Mtshotwana, says the ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule, Free State premier Sisi Ntombela, the Mayor of Lejweleputswa district Nkosijali Speelman, and other international guests addressed the youth at the conference yesterday.
The conference started on 20 November and is set to end on Friday 22 November 2019 with a newly elected cabinet.
