FS initiates rescued by helicopter after flooding─── 15:48 Mon, 09 Dec 2019

Three young men, aged between 22 and 26, who were trapped between two streams after flooding near Botshabelo in the Free State on Monday morning, were rescued by an Emergency Medical Services helicopter.
It is alleged that they have been trapped there since the previous night. Sipho Towa, spokesperson of EMS, says the men were allegedly attending an initiation school programme. After an hour-long rescue effort, the helicopter completed the mission successfully. Towa further confirmed that none of them have sustained any injuries. They were reunited with other initiates afterwards.
