The family of a missing woman from Odendaalsrus in the Free State calls for the assistance of the public in their quest to find her.
Mamaki Motloenya was last seen by her family members on Christmas Day in Kutloanong township. Motloenya’s cousin, Tshepiso Maloka tells OFM News, she was present at a family lunch on 25 December 2019. She was wearing grey pants and a red top, the day she was last seen. Maloka explains Motloenya had gotten into an argument with a friend on Christmas Day, when she wandered off barefoot. He confirms she had been consuming some alcohol and was slightly inebriated. He says she is short, light-skinned and has a short blond hairstyle.
Motloenya’s family has reported the matter to Odendaalsrus police. He says he was recently contacted by police regarding identifying the partly charred body of a young woman which was discovered in a Senekal graveyard on ‘Boxing Day’. He says they quickly determined the body is not that of his cousin, because the deceased’s hair was braided up and she was she was wearing a blue and red shirt unlike Motloenya. The missing woman reportedly has two children, aged three and seven years old. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Motloenya can contact police.
Meanwhile, there are no updates in the above-mentioned matter of the body of a young woman who was found with burn injuries to her face, in Matwabeng township on 26 December 2019.
