NW Health MEC visits #Covid19 isolation ward─── 11:35 Thu, 23 Apr 2020
The North West Department of Health MEC, Madoda Sambatha, is today expected to visit the Covid-19 isolation ward at the Klerksdorp/Tshepong hospital complex situated in the City of Matlosana Local Municipality.
Sambatha will receive a progress report from the Covid-19 team in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda district on contract tracing of six of the fifty-six patients who came in contact with a doctor who tested positive for Covid-19 at the Klerksdorp hospital.
Provincial health spokesperson Tebogo Lekgethwane said three of these Covid-19 patients have been submitted to a hospital in the province.
