#CoronavirusFS: Police stations closed─── 11:46 Wed, 20 Jan 2021
The Tweespruit and Dewetsdorp SAPS stations in the Free State are temporarily closed for decontamination due to members testing positive for the coronavirus.
Police spokesperson, Thandi Mbambo, apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from the closure of the police stations. She adds that members, who came in contact with the affected individuals, are subjected to follow strict Covid-19 related protocols before returning to work.
Stations will be decontaminated for the duration of the closure so as to curb the spread of the virus, says Mbambo.
The community will be informed once the station is operational again. Meanwhile, the Tweespruit CSC will on the interim operate from a contact point in Thaba Phatsoa. Alternative numbers to be used for Tweespruit CSC are:
Acting Station Commander: 082-419-7160
