NW CIT robber nabbed in Jhb─── 07:08 Sun, 21 Feb 2021

A suspected North West cash-in-transit (CIT) robber was nabbed in Johannesburg after a year-long investigation linked him to the crime.
The suspect was apprehended by the Hawks for a robbery that took place at a popular supermarket in Klerksdorp in the Matlosana Local Municipality.
The Hawks provincial spokesperson, Tlangelani Rikhotso, says Patrick Pule (32) and another suspect allegedly ambushed a security vehicle and stole an undisclosed amount of money and a firearm, then fled the scene.
She says the Hawks have since recovered the stolen firearm.
The suspect is said to have made his first court appearance at the Klerksdorp Magistrate’s Court and was remanded in custody for his next court appearance on 5 March 2021.
Meanwhile, Pule was arrested whilst in Johannesburg on Friday by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit.
