Former North West premier and ANC chairperson, Supra Mahumapelo, yesterday said that he is “not a monster”.
The briefing was held at Delareyville town hall in Tswaing, and was attended by ANC members.
The former premier says he has been painted with a wrong brush, citing that even during the unrest in 2018 he was not consulted; not even to submit a report.
The interim provincial committee of the ANC has suspended Mahumapelo's membership, accusing him of causing division in the party.
Mahumapelo however maintains that at least R35 million was donated by business people to fund his downfall.
