Residents of Intabazwe in the Free State won't stop protesting until President Cyril Ramaphosa intervenes.
This, according to community leader Neo Motaung, who spoke to OFM News in an exclusive interview this morning.
“We want him to solve the problems that we have raised for years,” he adds.
Motaung says they want Harrismith to be removed from the troubled Maluti-A-Phofung Local Municipality.
He claims the municipality only serves the people of Qwaqwa. Maluti-A-Phofung is comprised of Qwaqwa, Kestel, and Harrismith.
Motaung nonetheless agreed that recent violence has interrupted learning and teaching.
