This is according to the spokesperson for the Free State Health Department, Mondli Mvambi, who says after a successful day yesterday, the same energy should be applied today.

OFM News previously reported that persons 60 years of age and older are invited to get vaccinated in Bloemfontein as part of the Phase 2 vaccination process this weekend.

“The only focus that we are having now is to ensure that we rally as many elderly people as possible to get vaccinated. Today we are still continuing the vaccination drive,” Mvambi adds.

He advises those who are planning to vaccinate, to already be registered on the electronic vaccination data system through any of the following means:

•    Through the official Covid-19 Vaccination Portal, 

•    By dialling *134*832#

•    Or, by sending the word “Register” to WhatsApp 0600 123 456 for free.

Mvambi says vaccinations will take place at Universitas Academic Hospital between 08:00 and 15:30 today.
