Vanderbiljpark water supply restored─── 06:55 Mon, 07 Jun 2021
Rand Water officials, together with Water Demand Management from the Emfuleni Local Municipality in the Vaal, Gauteng, have successfully completed resealing a damaged pipeline, supplying the Vanderbijlpark reservoir.
This follows after areas surrounding Vanderbiljpark, including the Central Business District, were without water since Thursday.
The Emfuleni Local Municipality and Rand Water officials, joined by a contractor, confirmed on Sunday that they had successfully completed resealing the damaged pipeline.
Water would be restored the same day, provided that the seal passed the required tests and had no leaks.
