This comes after it has been reported that an overflow of employees are showing up for vaccines due to the merger between the Potchefstroom and Jouberton sites, where the provincial vaccination rollout took place last Thursday.

According to the North West police spokesperson, Sabata Mokgwabone, all employees have been assured that they will receive their jabs despite delays in the opening of vaccination sites. He said that all other remaining sites in the province are expected to be opened by 3 August 2021.

Meanwhile, one of the employees, who is an  administration clerk at the Potchefstroom SAPS Garage, Katliso Mofokeng, said that she was relieved after getting her jab and encouraged fellow employees to get vaccinated.
