The Free State Department of Health spokesperson, Mondli Mvambi, said this forms part of various vaccination plans that the health department is employing towards increasing access to different categories of the population.

Mvambi further stated that the continued vaccination programme is aimed at people who are unable to vaccinate during the week because of other commitments such as their jobs.

"We courage everyone to come. We are seeing the new category of 35 to 49-year-old. Some of them come with their parents and grandparents, which is contributing positively. If you are 35 years to 49, please register on the EVDS system and come and vaccinate at our healthcare facility," said Mvambi.

He further stated that if you are unable to register online, assistance will be provided at the vaccination site.
