After issuing 350 title deeds to the residents of Vogelfontein and Bohlokong in the Eastern Free State last week, the Human Settlements MEC, Tshidi Koloi, together with the Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi, returned and gifted about 2 000 sites to Rosendal residents in the Dihlabeng Local Municipality. 

The municipal spokesperson, Tshidiso Maitse, says the minister, MEC, and the executive mayor played crucial roles to ensure that residents have sites of their own.

Kubayi tells OFM News that of the 1 000 sites she gave out to the residents, only those who qualify for the RDP houses according to the government policy will be built houses. 

She indicates that all sites given to the residents have the full infrastructure. 

She also promised to return at a later stage to oversee projects - such as houses, roads, water, and electricity - that have been left unfinished.
