Police officers arrived for duty in their numbers where Magashule and his co-accused are set to appear for the continuation of the asbestos court trial. At least four streets surrounding the High Court precinct in Bloemfontein have been cordoned off with razor wire.

Masses of Magashule supporters are expected to arrive in support of the ANC heavyweight, as was the case with every court appearance so far. Police and traffic officers have been placed strategically on various exits and entry points to the High Court.
