Head of Admin and Logistics of the Sisi Ntombela Foundation, Tseliso Mokoai, says the objective of this run is to raise funds for the five districts of the Free State province to help families identified in communities of disadvantaged poor individuals who have been strongly affected by the devastating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The route has been calibrated from the Loch Logan Rose Gardens where the start and finish will be situated.

The route will showcase the beautiful landmarks of Bloemfontein and will be covering three different distances of a 5km fun run, a 10km and a 21km. All funds will be audited and channelled to buying food and other basic essentials. The prize money ranges from R500 to R2000.

Mokoai says the registration fees for the 5km fun run/walk is R100, for the 10km it is R150 and for the 21.1km it is R200.

"Registration is done via the foundation's website which is www.charityrace.co.za, and it opened on 3 December and is closing on 9 December 2021," says Mokoai.
