A 3-month-old baby and an 11-year-old girl have been killed in a shooting in Vanderbijlpark in Gauteng.
The incident took place at their home on Friday night.
ER24 says their 30-year-old mother suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and is in a critical condition.
Paramedics found the mother and baby together on a bed while the 11-year-old was on another bed in the same room.
A young girl escaped hiding under blankets on a bed in another room.
Police are investigating.
