The Free State Department of Education spokesperson, Howard Ndaba, says a certain portion of parents went to the school to strike about the new principal who was set to begin on Tuesday. Ndaba explained that he went to school to assure the parents that the right measures were followed when the new principal was appointed, as the parents wanted to get clarity on how the new principal was appointed. No one was hurt and the parents understood the new appointment.

“We explained to the parents that the process was followed and they understood. I can confirm that the school was suspended due to the safety of the learners, but tomorrow the school will resume normally.
