It is alleged that the learner has on Wednesday caused a disruption at the school when he forcefully went to the grade 12 class and threatened teachers.

The North West Department of Education spokesperson, Ellias Malindi, confirmed the incident to OFM News, saying the learner is making an impossible demand.

Malindi says the learner is ill-discplined, disruptive, and constantly absent from school.

"Despite chances given to the learner, he did not change his behavior and thus force the school to not accept him anymore, as age is also considered," said Malindi.

The department is set to have arranged with police in the area to visit the school in order to monitor the situation.

Malindi says the learner should attend adult-based education and training at his age, and say it is really not possible to just place him in matric because he is unruly.
