OFM made contact with Zone 1 Taxi Rank chairman, Mosiuwa Mosese, who confirmed a gathering of unruly community members.

The Public Order Police reportedly had to fire shots to disperse the crowd, who took off to the Central Business District (CBD).

Mosese says they have received several complaints from some drivers that allege their money was forcefully taken from them in the morning.

He adds criminal cases will be opened.

Meanwhile, OFM News is monitoring the situation and has sent an enquiry to the police about any possible arrests.
