Another 'total shutdown' planned for Bloemfontein─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 07:42 Mon, 21 Mar 2022
The pressure group Mangaung Service Delivery Forum (MSDF) is planning yet another so-called total shutdown march.
The group is set to hold a media briefing soon, to give full details about the shutdown they are planning for 24 and 25 March.
MSDF’s Potso Motoko explains the protest march is to make sure the Mangaung Metro Municipality delivers on quality service - seeing as it is still under national administration. Motoko says they will be delivering another memorandum of demands.

Amongst the issues they are protesting about, is the longstanding issue of the high unemployment rate, corruption and nepotism.
The group has previously held several protests regarding the same issues. They have held meetings in both Botshabelo and Thaba 'Nchu over the past weekend to inform their stakeholders on how they plan to deliver a "sound memorandum in order for their demands to be heard".
