Mayor agrees to address Metro's administrative inadequacies─── 15:08 Thu, 24 Mar 2022
The Mangaung Metro's mayor, Mxolisi Siyonzana, agreed to address the Metro's administrative inadequacies after the Mangaung pressure groups marched to the municipal headquarters on Thursday.
Siyonzana received a memorandum of demands from aggrieved Mangaung residents. He says that he will be working hand in hand with the Free State Provincial Government, the municipal management, and leadership of the MSDF and MCC to urgently address issues that are at the forefront of the metro's reoccurring maladministration.
OFM News previously reported that the submissions delivered in a much-anticipated sitting of the Parliament's Select Committee of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Water and Sanitation in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP), stamped the assertion that the Mangaung Metro is in a state of government paralysis.
