Rugby lover on Griquas' chances in #CurrieCupFinal─── 12:13 Mon, 20 Jun 2022
A rugby fanatic, who was in the Kimberley stadium 52 years ago when the Cinderella team, the Griquas, won the Currie Cup final, said the team is going to do it again.
Solly du Preez says he cannot remember the details so well anymore, but he was one of the spectators of the 1970 game that secured the team a win of all wins in rugby history.
He says the Griquas’ are likely to win this year's Currie Cup final, given how they slaughtered the Bulls last week.
Du Preez says he predicts the Griquas will win against the Pumas with 25-13.
