Men's conference to commence in Kimberley─── 10:42 Fri, 24 Jun 2022
The Department of Public Works - in partnership with the Department of Justice's Office of the Family Advocate, and various other stakeholders - is set to host a men's conference in the Northern Cape on Friday.
This, as the country celebrated Men's Health on 13 - 19 June. According to Mr Lethapisa Ramalepe, spokesperson for Public Works and Infrastructure, the conference is aimed at addressing the societal issues that South African men are facing.
Furthermore, Ramelepe told OFM News there will be dialogue sessions to address issues such as the high suicide rate, the rights of unmarried fathers, and child maintenance.
The conference is expected to take place on Friday 24 June 2022 at the old Magistrate's Court on Market Street in Kimberley.
