The provincial police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, says that a male's body was discovered on the road with multiple injuries earlier this week. This after stating that the unknown vehicle that allegedly ran over the victim, failed to stop. Covane adds that police and paramedics were summoned to the scene after the accident and the 54-year-old man was declared dead by paramedics.

Covane pleaded with community members who might have witnessed the hit-and-run incident, or who might have any information that can assist in the investigations, to contact Captain Mbulelo Khoboko on 082-4676-348 or visit the nearest police station.
