Free State police are requesting the public to assist with information that may lead to the arrest of suspects involved in a business robbery that took place at a chain store at The Walk Shopping Centre, in Langenhovenpark, Bloemfontein.
According to provincial police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, a 33-year-old complainant, who is the manager of the store, alleges that two males had walked into the store pretending to be customers and they suddenly pulled out firearms and accosted four cashiers.
Covane says the two suspects instructed the cashiers to walk back into the manager’s office. He adds that the suspects allegedly took different brands of cell phones, as well as an undisclosed amount of money, and fled the scene with a white Renault Clio with registration number HRT558FS.
He also adds that police were called to the scene and a case of business robbery was opened. Covane called on the public's assistance in order to arrest these criminals. He further asked anyone with information to contact Captain Thapelo Motseki on 082-466-8405 or visit the nearest police station.
