Planned water, electricity interruptions for parts of Free State─── 16:00 Tue, 25 Oct 2022
Water and electricity interruptions have been scheduled for Wednesday for the residents of the former Naledi region and parts of Bloemfontein South.
According to a statement by the Mangaung Metro, the planned water interruptions come as a result of Eskom undertaking maintenance at the Driekop Substation on Wednesday 26 October 2022.
The duration for electricity interruption has been planned for a period of 12 hours, and because the pump station supplies water to these areas manually, they too will be affected, resulting in water interruptions.
The affected areas are Van Stadensrus, Dewetsdorp, Wepener, and Bloemfontein South, which includes Pellissier, Lourier Park and Fauna, from 06:00-18:00.
Furthermore, the electricity supply may be restored without warning at any time during the interruption period, therefore all installations must be treated as live and dangerous.
