The central and eastern parts of Bloemfontein have been placed under impact-based weather warning levels 4 to 6.
This means that there might be severe thunderstorms that might lead to major disruptions of municipal services and major disruptions of traffic flow due to roads being flooded.
Senior Weather Forecaster from Weather SA, Quinton Jacobs, says the western parts of Bloemfontein are under level 2 warning, which means that there might be minor hail storms and flooding and that the area will not be affected as badly.
An Orange Level 6 Warning for Severe Thunderstorms to be expected over the western parts of North-West as well as the central and western parts of the Free State.
