Emfuleni Municipality workers are caught in the crossfire of the battle between their employer and Eskom.
They haven't been paid their salaries for December, as the municipality's accounts were attached.
Eskom obtained a judgment against it as it owes the power utility R5.3-billion.
Union Samwu is upset, saying it was told employees would be paid today, but that hasn't happened.
