A family from Petrusville, in the Pixley Ka Seme District, has been gifted new furniture after their belongings were lost in a fire.
The handover of the new furniture to the Lumkwana family was done by the Northern Cape Premier Dr. Zamani Saul, accompanied by the mayor of Renosterberg, Andrew Samson.
It is explained in a Facebook post that the family lost all their belongings in a fire which destroyed their home.
“The provincial government - through the department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs - assisted the family to rebuild the Lumkwana family home.”
