Nienaber to face Ramaphosa─── MORGAN PIEK 11:38 Thu, 05 Jan 2023
The DP World Tour and Bloemfontein professional, Wilco Nienaber, will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on Friday when he tees it up at the Bloemfontein Golf Club.
The 22-year-old Nienaber will play a round of golf against the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, at his home course in the City of Roses.
Nienaber has been paired in the same four-ball as the President in the 18-hole exhibition match that forms part of the ANC's 111th Anniversary celebrations that will be taking place in Bloemfontein on the weekend.
This golf day is closed to the public, however, the first 100 golf club members with their handicap cards will be allowed to follow the four-ball. This match will get under way at 10am.
