Three deceased North West police members named─── DANE BEISHEIM 12:29 Sat, 10 Jun 2023
The names of the three Police members who died on Tuesday when the bakkie they were driving rolled on the N12 highway near Potchefstroom in the North West, have been released by the provincial police.
The deceased are Ngwako Ronaldo Mohlopi (30), Sakhiwe Albert Mnende (33) and Mmamatlhomola Maria Mokoena (34).
The members had been employed by the police for four, eight and seven years respectively.
According to police spokesperson Adele Myburgh, the Constables were traveling with an official SAPS double cab bakkie on the N12 from Potchefstroom in the direction of Fochville, when the driver presumably lost control of the vehicle at around 16:30.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
