The police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating three missing people, who went missing in three different locations.

Sipho Morake (49) was last seen by his sister on Wednesday (16/7) at Bronkhorstfontein farm in Buffelshoek at around 09:00. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing grey sweatpants, a blue overall jacket, black boots, and a green bucket hat.

“A search was conducted at Bronkhorstfontein farm and the surrounding areas without success, and extensive investigations did not yield positive results,” said North West police spokesperson Adéle Myburgh.

‘Morake suffers from mental health issues’

He suffers from mental health issues and is on chronic medication for his condition.

“Morake is light in complexion, has brown eyes, weighs 80kg, is 1.65m tall, and is bald.” Anyone with information can phone sgt. Victoria Khumalo on 082 373 7291 or the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.

Meanwhile, police in Ganyesa, a town two hours away from Mahikeng, are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Keorapetse Mokgaotsi (34), who was last seen on Monday, 7 July, at the Ganyesa shopping complex.

‘He dropped her off at the shopping complex’

Mokgaotsi left home heading to the shopping complex, but she never returned. “According to information received, the taxi driver, who gave her a lift to Ganyesa, confirmed he dropped her off at the shopping complex,” said Myburgh.

“A search was conducted and all leads followed up, but it did not yield positive results. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing long black leather trousers, a long-sleeved lime green polo neck, with a long khaki fur jacket, and brown Timberland boots.”

Meanwhile, Rustenburg police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Udica Awol (44), also known as Cindy, who was last seen by her sister in April.

Awol was last seen by her sister on Sunday, 27 April, when they went to sleep, and when she woke up the Monday, Awol was not at home.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black pair of jeans and a black top.

“She is light in complexion, has brown eyes, weighs 55kg, and is slender. She has brown curly hair, a scar on her left cheek, a scorpion tattoo on her back, and the word “fearless” tattooed under her right ear.”
