Pretoria. - The Pretoria University High Performance Centre will be a hive of activity when a 32-member Under-19 cricket squad congregates for a training camp under the watchful eye of National Under-19 and Standard Bank National Academy coach, Ray Jennings from July 7-9.
Some of the talent at the training camp will be Clayton August of Boland, Mangaliso Mosehle of Easterns and the Free State pair of Cobus Pienaar and Rilee Rossouw who all represented South Africa in the recent ICC U19 World Cup in Malaysia.
KwaZulu-Natal's left-arm spinner, Keshav Maharaj, who attended the spinning training camp in India recently, will alsobe in action.
The squad is: Boland: Clayton August, Du Toit Kemp and Emile Kriek. Border: Jerry Nqolo and Cebo Tsiki.. Easterns: Mangaliso Mosehle. Eastern Province: Colin Ackerman, Kula Akhona, Thabile Dlepu, Siyamthanda Ntshona, Kelly Smuts and Carl van Niekerk. Free State: Michael Erlank, Cobus Pienaar, Rilee Rossouw and Stephan Smith. Gauteng: Temba Bavuma, Devon Conway, Dale Deeb and Elton Jantjies.Griqualand West: Gerhardt Abrahams, Michaelle Peterson and Reece Williams. KwaZulu-Natal: Michael Alexander, Keshav Maharaj and Khaya Zondo. Northerns: Josh Richards and Christiaan Schoeman. North West: Andrea Agathagelou.
